Hunter Montgomery
Hunter Montgomery is the owner and managing attorney of the office, serving the lowcountry of South Carolina. He has focused his practice on Estate Planning and probate law ever since joining the South Carolina Bar in 2002. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina.
After his undergraduate studies, he graduated cum laude from Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia, having earned a Juris Doctorate. Hunter is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Beaufort County Bar Association, the Hilton Head Island Bar Association and has served on a number of charitable and advisory boards in the Bluffton/Hilton Head area.
He is an acclaimed speaker in the field of estate planning, probate and asset protection. He is also a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys, a prestigious nationwide organization of estate planning attorneys. Hunter, a native of Mississippi but having moved to Beaufort County in 1984, has called Beaufort County home for almost 35 years.
Hunter lives in Bluffton with his wife and their two children. When he is not busy at work, Hunter assists in his wife’s efforts to homeschool their children through classical education, fishes, hunts and generally enjoys the outdoors.
